So, who is the first Cooking Contributor for our new Liv For Luxury series, you ask? She’s strong, dedicated, funny, and has her own unique style in the kitchen. Not only is she an amazing cook, but the refined sugar-free icing on the gluten free and dairy free cake is that she’s an Olympic bronze medalist in the heptathlon. It doesn’t get much cooler than that. I couldn’t be more thrilled and honored to kick off this series with the incredibly talented Brianne Theisen-Eaton!

Hailing from Canada, Brianne is an Oregon-based food blogger who has been passionate about food and healthy eating ever since her time as a full-time Olympic athlete. As an athlete, she would constantly read books to better understand the effects of food and invent new and healthy recipes for herself and her husband Ashton Eaton, who just so happens to be an American track and field athlete and two-time Olympic gold medalist in the decathlon. As you can imagine, her health and what she chose to fuel her body with (and her husband’s) during training and competing had a huge impact on their performance.

For the past 10 years, she dedicated her life to winning an Olympic medal. After graduating from the University of Oregon, Bri got an agent, signed a contract with Nike—yes you read that correctly, NIKE, and set off to make her dreams come true. In 2016 she won an Olympic bronze medal in the heptathlon. I remember watching Bri during the Rio Olympics and thinking what a badass she was. My brother and I also would follow Ashton’s workouts on the Nike Training App and look forward to newly released workouts. But, her dreams couldn’t go on forever and after the Rio Olympics Bri and her husband decided to walk away from the sport. She felt like she achieved all that she wanted to and it was time for a new journey. One year later, Eaton was born.Eaton words to live by: "If you can't pronounce it, don't eat it." - Brianne Theisen-EatonI’ve been following Brianne’s @weareeaton Instagram account for a while now and when I found out about her new blog, I was literally counting down the days until the launch date! Ever since, I’ve been trying Bri’s unique recipes and I’m completely obsessed! I find myself waiting for new blog posts every week because I sincerely enjoy reading her informative and charismatic articles. Her writing style is very conversational and it makes Bri’s readers feel like they know her on a personal level.

Stock your pantry with nuts, seeds and nut butters! – Find out why here!

What I love most about her blog and her recipes is that basically all of them keep my dietary restrictions in mind, so I’m free to try any one of her recipes! This is how Bri and I connected, as we have similar beliefs in food and how beneficial food can be for your body. Her blog’s mission statement is something I live and breathe: making everyday foods healthy! We both understand how different foods can impact the body, the importance of reading food labels, understanding ingredients and deciphering what’s good and bad. Eaton is all about creating healthy dishesunderstanding how different foods work in the bodybreaking down common misconceptions about food, like “nuts make you fat“, and lastly enjoying real food without the guilt! In just a few months of reading Eaton and getting to know Bri personally, I’ve already learned so much from her and I can’t wait to share Bri’s knowledge and delicious recipes with all of you. We asked Bri a few questions, so you could learn more about what fuels her passion! Here is a bit more about this Canadian Olympian turned food blogger.
A Q&A gif with rotating photos of vegetables and fruits of all colors of the rainbow. Q: What made you decided to take the leap from Olympic athlete to food blogger?

A: To be honest, I was scared shitless when I retired from track and field. It was my whole world, it was how I identified myself – as a professional athlete, and I had no idea what I was going to do next. Ashton told me to think about what I was passionate about besides competing, and I knew right away it was healthy food and sharing my knowledge I’d learned over the years of being a professional athlete. So I thought, “What the hell, I’ll give that a go for a while and see what happens.”

Q: Where did you learn your cooking skills?

A: My family is very food oriented. My mom’s side of the family is Ukrainian, so life on that side revolved around homemade food soaked in cream. We also had a lot of home-cooked German meals on my dad’s side of the family, and my mom always cooked every day for our family growing up. She made a lot of your typical comfort foods: lasagna, bacon and eggs, grilled steak, PB&J’s, burgers, tuna casserole, chili…But meals were always homemade. We hardly ever went out to eat. She passed down a lot of her “easy to make” meals to me but I slowly learned different ways to cook just by experimenting.

Q: Who and what inspired you to become so passionate about food and creating healthy recipes?

A: During my sophomore year of college, I made the World Championships as a 20-year-old. This is when I began to show a lot of promise as a world-class athlete and started to take all aspects of training more seriously, including my recovery and nutrition. So I guess you could say the drive to become the best heptathlete in the world “forced” me into cooking and eating healthier. When I couldn’t stand eating the bland chicken and steamed veggies anymore, I would look for ways to make some of my favorite childhood comfort foods healthier. This is when I really started to have fun cooking because I could be creative and actually enjoy the food I was making instead of feeling guilty for eating something unhealthy.

Q: Where do you look for recipe inspiration?

A: I follow a lot of different food bloggers: Oh She Glows, Rachl Mansfield, Running on Veggies, and also just from looking at old recipes my mom gave me and thinking “how can I make this healthier?” Also if we go to a really good restaurant, I’ll take a picture of meal descriptions and try to recreate them at home, maybe with different ingredients if they aren’t already healthy.

Q: Could you tell us a little bit about your diet and the rules you live by when it comes to healthy eating?

A: I’ve tried to really simplify my diet because I used to feel overwhelmed by all the advice out there. Now I typically follow 6 simple eating rules:

  • Reduce the Sugar – eliminate all processed sugar and only eat foods sweetened naturally with dates, maple syrup, honey, coconut sugar.
  • Full Fat Everything – get rid of the low-fat yogurts, milks, crackers, cookies, etc.
  • No Refined Carbohydrates – quinoa, whole wheat, and brown rice pastas, etc.
  • Protein is King – try to eat protein at every meal and snack
  • Limit Liquid Calories – drink as much water as you can and limit the amount of alcohol, juices, and sodas you’re drinking – even diet sodas!

Typically, I follow the 80/20 rule. I eat healthy food at home 80% of the time but don’t stress too much if we go out to eat or go to someone else’s house for dinner and they have pie with processed sugar in it.

Q: What are your essential ingredients that you always keep on hand in your kitchen?

A: I always have:

  • Greek yogurt
  • Almond milk
  • Fizzy water
  • Raw fruits and vegetables
  • Sweeteners: honey, maple syrup, dates, coconut sugar
  • Oatmeal
  • A variety of nuts & seeds along with chia and hemp
  • Olive oil and coconut oil
  • 4 flours: white whole wheat, coconut, oat, almond
  • Butter
  • Eggs
  • Bread

Q: What is your favorite guilty pleasure recipe?

A: Macaroni and cheese while watching Shrek. Don’t ask me why but every time Ashton and I got home from a grueling 20-hour travel day after being halfway across the world for 6 weeks, we’d grab our Annie’s Mac & Cheese, sit our asses down on the couch and watch us some Shrek. Must have just been a comfort thing.

Q: What is one of your favorite restaurants that you would recommend?

A: I LOVE The Kitchen by Kimbal Musk. It’s not really a huge chain, but I think they are in a few cities across the US. It’s farm to table with super fresh ingredients and delicious food.Rapid Fire Questions - Ready, Set, Go!Q: Favorite meal of the day?

A: Breakfast by far. Bacon, eggs, quiche, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, eggs benny, COFFEE…I mean it’s all just so good. Plus, I’m always so hungry when I wake up in the morning.

Q: Favorite kitchen gadget?

A: That is really tough between my food processor and my Vitamix. I feel like I couldn’t really get by without either of them, but if I had to pick one, it would probably be the blender.

Q: One ingredient you couldn’t live without?

A: Dates. I date sweeten the crap outta everything.

Q: Favorite dessert?

A: Any kind of pie and ice cream.

Q: Favorite holiday?

A: Christmas.

Q: Favorite season?

A: Summer.

Q: First concert you ever attended?

A: Rascal Flatts.

Q: Favorite movie?

A: The 13-year-old me would say Titanic because that’s when I fell in love with Leonardo DiCaprio. The me today would say Argo.

 Q: Favorite food?

A: I like caesar salad, A LOT…

Q: Least favorite food?

A: Cilantro.

Q: Favorite color?

A: Black because it’s always flattering to wear.

Q: Can you speak another language?

A: No.

Q: What is one cause that you care deeply about?

A: I’ve gone to Africa with World Vision a number of times and have seen the huge impact they are having on providing clean water to undeveloped areas. Ashton and I have a sponsor child in Kenya that we go and visit every year.

Q: One sport you love besides track and field?

A: To play: volleyball. To watch: football.

Q: When you were competing, what did you do to celebrate a win?

A: Eat a whole shitload of dessert and probably some kind of fruity candy because that’s my biggest weakness.

Q: If you could eat one thing forever, what would it be?

A: PB&J toast.

Q: One word to describe your feelings after winning a bronze medal at the Olympics?

A: Relieved.

Q: Who is somebody you would like to meet?

A: Leonardo DiCaprio.

Q: What does your ideal date night with Ashton look like?

A: Dinner and a movie. We’re lame AF.

Q: Favorite go-to outfit?

A: Oh I’m such a jeans, t-shirt and baseball hat kind of girl. I have the worst sense of fashion ever. I need Liv to help me BADLY!  (I’m here for you Bri!)

Q: Favorite curse word?

A: When I need something powerful: f*ck. What I say all the time: shit.

Q: What’s your favorite place you’ve ever been?

A: Dubai. Just so different than I expected it to be.

Q: What’s one place you are dying to go?

A: New Zealand.

Q: Morning, noon or night?

A: I’m a morning person

Q: Favorite cuisine?

A: Greek

Q: In your opinion, who is the best athlete in the world?

A: Woman: Nafissatou Thiam. Man: Ashton Eaton. I know…I’m biased toward both but I do believe if either of them changed places with any other athlete, they would be well rounded enough to be able to do a better job at the other athlete’s sport than the other athlete would be able to do at the heptathlon or decathlon.

I hope this Q&A session gave you a peek into the life of Bri, and allowed you to learn more about her! In the meantime, be sure to visit Bri’s blog, Eaton, to try some of her tasty healthy recipes. I recommend reading her article WTF?! A Marathon?? to hear about what she has been up to. You can support Bri in her upcoming marathon by helping her raise money to provide 60 people in African with clean water! It is for an amazing cause I would love to see my friend reach her goal. You can donate here!  Stay tuned for part 2 of the Cooking Contributor series where Bri will share her expertise and some of her delicious recipes. From sweet to savory dishes, Brianne Theisen-Eaton is a true master of her craft.

If you have seen any of my posts from Newport, Rhode Island, you can probably tell that I am in love with this seaside gem. The fresh seafood, the gorgeous coastline, its opulent mansions and charming downtown, is what made me fall for this place as a little girl. As I mentioned in my Road Trip to Rhode Island post, I have been traveling to Newport, Rhode Island with my family ever since 2000, when I was 5 years old. It became a summer tradition, and each time we made the trip, we would always discover new restaurants to try or look for different places to explore. But, the one aspect of our trips that always stayed consistent was our choice of hotels. Since 2000, we have traveled to Rhode Island either 1 or 2 times per summer and we have always stayed at the Newport Marriott! If you do that math, that is a lot of visits to RI and the Newport Marriott! It became our home away from home and every summer I would countdown the days to when we would pack up the car and take the drive to the Newport Marriott. Every year my memories of my trips to RI and this hotel just keep getting better and better.

Aerial photo of the Newport Marriott hotel right along the Newport Habor

Seventeen years later and I still look forward to RI trips and staying at one of my favorite hotels. The Newport Marriott hotel is located in the heart of the historic Newport, and a 5-minute walk from Downtown Newport, which is where you will find the infamous Bowen’s Wharf. As you approach the Newport Marriott you are greeted by the friendly staff that is always eager to assist in any way possible. The newly redesigned hotel features nautical hints throughout the lobby and the hotel rooms, which pairs beautifully with the harbor front views from the hotel. You can literally walk out of the doors of the hotel and see the most stunning views of the Newport Harbor. No detail goes unnoticed at this Marriott with its luxury accommodations and the charming nautical lobby. When I arrived I couldn’t wait to get settled into my room and see what the Newport Marriott had in store for me.

On day one, I checked into my room and was speechless at how beautiful the accommodations were. As I walked through the doors and down the hallway of this grand suite, I was amazed at the stunning views of the Newport Harbor straight through the glass doors. Naturally, my first instinct was to run out to the incredible balcony and snap a few photos. If the marble dining set and the spacious living/entertainment area in the suite weren’t enough, two white wooden doors opened up to a grand master bedroom. The nautical details throughout the bedroom are subtle but add such a cozy seaside touch. The walk in closet was an added bonus for a blogger like me and the spa-like bathroom had the most goal worthy shower I have ever come across.

After checking in, we took a stroll past the harbor and into Downtown Newport. What is so great about the Marriott is its location, because of its close proximity to town. After just a 5 minute walk you’re in the heart of Newport and Bowens Wharf, where you will find the cutest shops and some of the best restaurants. One of my favorite places to go every time we are in RI is a BBQ spot called the Smoke House. They serve some of the freshest and tastiest BBQ in town, and they also have some great gluten-free options! Be sure to order their famous nachos (without cheese for me!) because they’re unreal.

Later that afternoon, it was time to hit the gym! I like to fit a workout in even when I am away, and the gym at the hotel is fully equipped. There is a space on the ground floor of the gym that is stocked with water rowers, TRX’s, kettlebells, box jumps…the works! You name it, they have and it is the ultimate dream for a fitness fanatic like me. An afternoon dip in the pool, a quick change back in the room, and off to the Skiff Bar located on the first floor of the hotel. We enjoyed specialty cocktails and delicious appetizers with a spectacular view of the sunset. Soon after we headed into town to one of my favorite spots- the Revolving Door. They serve a fresh local catch everyday, which is always delicious and the pork lettuce wraps are a must!

Day two started bright and early with a morning run along the Newport Cliff Walk, which is one of Newport’s top attractions. This 3.5-mile trail borders the shore line with incredible views of First Beach and the Newport Mansions (The Breakers has always been my favorite). Now its back to the hotel for the breakfast buffet at the hotels Mainsail restaurant. The maritime themed décor is charming and the service is always a delight. There is one waitress in particular named Susan, that I have known since I was a little girl. It is always a delight to catch up with her while enjoying a breakfast with a waterfront view.

After breakfast we ventured into downtown Newport and decided that we wanted to soak up the sun and enjoy the heavenly weather. What better way to see Rhode Island than on scooters! I guarantee that it will be one of the best experiences that you will have on your trip to RI. You can cruise down Ocean Drive to catch some of the most stunning views of the island and the winding roads reveal grand seaside mansions.

Biking really works up an appetite and one of the RI’s best kept secrets is Sweetberry Farm. The farm and café serves a variety of fresh produce, sandwiches and salads made in house. If there is ever a time to have a ‘cheat snack’, this is the definitely the place to go. The farm bakes fresh blueberry, peach, apple, strawberry pies daily. If you get to the farm at the right time to snag one of these sweet treats, consider yourself extremely lucky. Locals flock to pick up these  freshly baked treats. The farm also offers one of my favorite summer traditions, which is strawberry and raspberry picking. It also makes for the cutest photos…you know me…always thinking about getting the perfect shot!

We finished off the trip at 22 Bowens, which serves New England’s finest steaks and seafood. It is located in the historic Bowens Wharf, which is always a fun and lively place to be during the evenings. It was the best way to end such an amazing trip with the Newport Marriott.

Photo of the harbor just steps away from the Newport Marriott Hotel in Newport Rhode Island

As you all know by now I have been traveling to Newport for ages, so I know a lot about the hidden gems and the best places to visit. This trip was filled with fun activities, but I couldn’t hit all of my favorite spots in just two days. I will definitely be back soon to highlight more of my favorite places in City by the Sea. Do not underestimate this small state! There is so much to do and I can’t wait to share more of my love for Newport, Rhode Island with you! Thank, you to the Newport Marriott for sponsoring this post and for being a part of yet another memorable trip to Newport, Rhode Island. I look forward to visiting again very soon!

My Nike sneaker collection keeps growing and one of my new additions are the Nike Cortez. The OG Nike Cortez made its debut during the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, Germany. They are an unmistakable icon, worn by Team USA, as the first track shoe designed by the Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman. The silhouette has been redesigned over the years, but this year was the 45th anniversary of the Cortez. It is an iconic sneaker that I needed to get my hands on, and the anniversary edition was the perfect fit. If they’re good enough for Forest, they are good enough for me!

These OG Nikes are truly a timeless piece that can be dressed up or down and I have been wearing them on repeat all summer. Comfortable, classic, cool and fresh. I love them so much that I even got a pair of black and white. I chose to style them simply with a cropped white tee and a pair of track-pant inspired wide leg pants. The red stripe down the side felt very street-style inspired and I loved the edgy quality they gave to the overall look.

On Liv For Luxury, we’re excited to introduce a new series to the blog that we like to call, the Liv For Snacks Series. Today we are talking about one of our favorite snacks and go to protein bars from RXBAR. For those of you who follow me on Instagram and watch my Instagram stories, you will know I have a true passion for cooking, health, and fitness. And for those of you who consistently read my blog, I would like to share more about my love for food, fitness and how food can affect and heal the body. In November of 2016, I chose to live a completely gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free lifestyle. While this may sound difficult, I’ve found this time to be eye-opening and interesting because I’m able to research new and beneficial foods to add into my diet and find replacement snacks to the gluten, dairy and sugar filled snacks I used to munch on. Now don’t get me wrong, I didn’t eat fruit roll-ups and drink soda. I’ve always lived a healthy lifestyle and treated myself to a sweet every now and then. But since this change in my diet, I’m constantly looking for new recipes to create and snacks to purchase that work with my dietary restrictions.

I’m sure at this point you’re probably wondering why I’ve chosen to make this drastic lifestyle change. Well, I think it’s important for me to give you some insight on why I became so interested in how food can affect the body and why I made these dietary adjustments. No, I’m not on some craze diet, nor did I go gluten, dairy and sugar-free because it was the new “it thing” to do at the time. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, which is an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks the thyroid and heavily affects your metabolism. A few celebrities, like Gigi Hadid, Zoe Saldana, and Victoria Justice, have recently shared their struggle with the disease and I felt like it was the right time for me to share my struggle with all of you.

There are some doctors who say that Hashimoto’s cannot be cured and then proceed to prescribe you with a medication to relieve and mask symptoms. Other doctors take a more holistic approach and say Hashimoto’s can be cured with something more powerful than any medication – and this is food. So instead of resorting to taking medication, I’ve turned to a healthy diet and exercise and taken a holistic approach to reclaiming my health and living symptom-free. Since then, I’ve cut out gluten, dairy, and refined sugar from my diet and I live a very active lifestyle. Removing gluten, dairy and sugar is a natural way to relieve symptoms. Not only have these changes been beneficial to me and my overall health, but as other family members (who do not have an autoimmune disease) have come on this GF, DF and SF journey with me, they have also noticed major changes in the overall health of their bodies. This just goes to show how powerful food can be for both those who have may have small health issues and those who do not.

Now that you hopefully understand a little bit more about me and why I’ve made these dietary choices, you’ll see that all my snacks are GF, DF and SF! So, for the first installment of the Liv For Luxury: Liv for Snacks Series, we wanted to share one of our absolute favorite go-to snacks to eat pre- or post- workout. The protein bars from RXBAR are one snack the Liv For Luxury team can’t get enough of. I was introduced to RXBAR’s through my involvement in the Crossfit community. As I walked through Whole Foods after a tough workout, I would search through the protein bar aisle looking for a bar that didn’t have any hidden ingredients I couldn’t pronounce, added sugar, or ingredients I didn’t feel comfortable putting in my body. Coming from someone who believes so much in the importance of the effects of food on the body, RX Bars just seemed to be on the same wavelength.

If you aren’t familiar with RXBAR’s, they pride themselves on their slogan, “real and upfront,” which couldn’t be closer to the truth. RXBAR is open and honest about every SINGLE ingredient that goes into each bar with no surprises. They provide their consumers with real food. I admire the founders for seeing a gap in the market for healthy protein bars and driving ahead with a singled minded focus to create a healthy and delicious protein bar that is totally upfront.

If you’ve never tasted one of these bars, I’ll tell you right now – you’re missing out. I went through a period where I would crave the blueberry flavor because I just loved the texture and the natural sweetness that comes from the dates and the cashews. Each bar contains 3 egg whites, 6 almonds, 4 cashews, 2 dates, and “no B.S.” (their words, not mine…). These bars are perfect if you’re on the go and looking for something that will fill you up and provide healthy proteins, fats, and carbs. I like to eat these either before a workout or after a workout.

Since these bars are one of my go-to pre/post workout snacks, I have tried all the flavors and decided to narrow down my top three favorite flavors to share with you (as difficult as it may be!):

Chocolate Chip RXBAR: If you’re looking for a protein bar that tastes like a chocolate chip cookie, this will be your new favorite snack. It’s sweetened with 100% cacao, a dash of vanilla and chocolate flavor. The texture is similar to the blueberry, but with chunks of cacao you get a little extra crunch and even a little more sweetness! It is one of their newest flavors and it seems to be doing really well, because every time I go to Whole Foods to stock up, the shelf is empty! If you do find them, savor every bite! Blueberry RXBAR: Flavored with real blueberries, you get a burst of sweetness with every bite. The soft and chewy texture from the fruit and dates pairs deliciously with the slight crunch from the almonds and cashews. This flavor was the first flavored I ever tried from the brand and it’s been a top favorite ever since.

Mixed Berry RXBAR: This is another one of their newest additions to the RXBAR family. This bar is flavored with cranberries, raspberries, and strawberries, and as a berry lover, you can imagine how much I love this bar as well. It’s definitely similar in sweetness and texture to the Blueberry flavor, but it is slightly sweeter because of the fresh/tart cranberries, and the sweet raspberries and strawberries.

If I had to choose one out of all three…I can’t, I just can’t do it! I love all of them equally, but Blueberry was my first love. Every time I go and grab a flavor to snack on, it’s always a struggle. You really can’t go wrong with any of the flavors! If you’ve tried these bars, I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. And if you haven’t had a chance to try RXBARS, I 100% recommend them!

I hope you enjoyed the first installment of the Liv For Snacks Series! I look forward to sharing new and exciting projects and additions I’ve been working on for Liv For Food/Fitness!

The 4th of July is definitely on one of my favorite summer holidays, not only for the adorable patriotic red, white and blue attire but because it is the anniversary of Liv For Luxury! I started my blog in 2014 and I have been in love with blogging ever since. I am so happy to share my personal style, love for beauty and passions, for now, food and fitness with all of you! Thank you for the constant support and love and I look forward to the many more years of blogging to come.

The 4th is one of the most popular time of the year for summer pool parties, barbecues or fun trips to beachy locations. While it’s important to show your patriotism and stick to the red, white and blue theme, you don’t want to look like you’re trying too hard or be too over the top! I like to stick to either solids or classic prints like gingham, seersucker, stripes and maybe a hint of a star print.  I’ve rounded up a bunch of my favorite picks for this Fourth of July, while I was looking for looks to sport during next weeks’ festivities. Hopefully, this guide ‘sparks’ a little Fourth of July outfit inspiration and helps you become the “star” of your 4th of July celebration!

I hope you all have a Happy Fourth of July!

Sweet sweet summertime has finally arrived in NY and I couldn’t be more thrilled! With summer weather comes a whole summer wardrobe, and, boy, do I have some cute seasonal looks in store for you guys! Today on Liv For Luxury, I’m starting off the summer style with a throwback post to the 90’s, as the most polarizing trends of this season have been inspired by the 90’s. I’m all for showing off a bit of midriff during the summer and what better way to do that than with a cropped blouse and a gingham mini skirt. But I’m not just talking about any basic cropped top. There’s one style in particular that’s making a comeback, and that’s what I like to call the “bubble top.”

With elastic bands around the waist and arms and a more abbreviated length, this trend pairs beautifully with a high-waisted bottom, such as a pair of trousers, jeans, or in this case a mini skirt. The Reformation Josephine Top can either be worn off the shoulders or it can be styled as a cropped shirt with a ruffled bubble sleeve. It’s a modern take on one of those classic off the shoulder bubble tops that I used to rock in the 90’s… and I’m sure some of you did as well!

Aside from the bubble cropped top trend that’s making a comeback this summer, gingham print is another feminine trend I knew we’d be seeing everywhere this season. Stores like Zara, Express, Free People, and Reformation are offering so many different styles in this country-style and preppy staple. Made from this cool textured gingham, this side tie skirt from Madewell was one of those “wear-with-all” pieces I knew I would make so much use of this summer. I chose to dress up this new gingham skirt with a cropped bubble top and my favorite pair of block heels. Every time I feature these suede sandals on my Instagram I get so many messages and questions about where you can purchase them. You will all be happy to know that they are inexpensive and currently on sale!

I finished off the look with my new favorite accessories – this straw sun hat and the new Bondi watch from Daniel Wellington. This sun hat is from a brand called Scala. Last summer I was obsessed with my Janessa Leone flat brimmed hat, but this season I was looking for something a little more Parisian and elegant. When I saw the sweet bow detailing on this hat, I was in love. I wanted to pair this look with some delicate details that played off the gingham print, which is why this new white-strapped Bondi watch was ideal. I have always been a fan of Daniel Wellington’s minimalistic and timeless design, and when I was introduced to this new style, I found the white strap to be unique for the brand. If you want to shop the new DW Bondi style, you can use the code LIVFORLUXURY at checkout to receive 15% off your purchase! I’ve been wearing it with all my looks recently, and it is definitely my new summer essential.
