Effortless. Bold. Progressive. SUISTUDIO has completely redefined what women’s power suiting means. With their smart approach to classic power suiting combinations that, well, suit every kind of woman, SUISTUDIO has created an array of chic, impeccably tailored, and eye-catching silhouettes. Although this concept was derived from the brand’s parent company Suit Supply, which is very well established, SUISTUDIO has inherited their own powerful message: We’re #notdressingmen.
It is apparent that this brand seeks absolute equality and is taking women’s suiting just as seriously as men’s and asserting this collection can stand strong on its own. The brands messaging is not intended to pin one group against one another, rather show that we are all able to wear what we want.
Last weekend, I visited Brookfield Place for the first time with the intentions of styling a look at the SUISTUDIO store. Side note: Brookfield Place is a beautiful waterfront shopping complex with amazing stores, food, and even an ice skating rink, so if you’re looking for a festive place to visit, this is the place to be. The SUISTUDIO store has a very luxurious and welcoming vibe, with a vast selection of the brand’s pieces and stylists that are very eager to help you find the right style.
I was immediately drawn to this black, white and grey double-breasted checked suit and the fit as if it was custom & tailored made to my body. Pairing this suit with this light brown neutral overcoat, added a soft and unexpected element to the look. The luxurious blend of wool and alpaca, in this gorgeous brown color, this overcoat can effortlessly be styled with several different looks – from dressy to casual. This suit and coat is the perfect holiday look this season. Instead of a dress or a skirt, why not sport a perfectly tailored suit to one of your holiday gatherings? I think I might wear this for Christmas Eve! Overall, from start to finish, I had a custom fit experience with SUISTUDIO. I wish I could wear a suit every day because today I felt powerful. Be sure to check out more of SUISTUDIO’s silhouettes here or if you have the opportunity, visit their Brookfield Place or Soho location.
I hope you enjoyed this post!
