I’m all about modern silhouette these days. I love coming across unique pieces that work effortlessly into my wardrobe. I kept things minimal with a simple blue white combo – perfect for this upcoming weekend! (just add a red scarf, lip or shoe and you have a perfect 4th look) Individually, both pieces are versatile and perfect to have on hand during the summer. I’ve been dressing up this Storets skirt quite a bit, but it also looks SO cute casually. Pair this white overlay skirt with white sneakers and a simple grey tee tucked in for a dressed down, yet chic look. For dinner in Westport, CT, I wanted to dress up this look with a sweet off-the-shoulder top. The cold shoulder trend does not seem to be going anyway! I see the style in a million different silhouettes and patterns. What I really liked about this particular off the shoulder top were the skinny tie straps and the all over poufy fit. When you have a pencil silhouette or a somewhat body hugging skirt, it’s always a nice to contrast with a not so fitted top. It makes the look standout and become more elevated. The high waisted fit of the skirt worked really well with the cropped top – leaving just a hint of skin to help break up the look (and to show off a lil summer glow!) I really hope you guys liked this look!
This Fourth of July will mark the 2nd Anniversary of Liv For Luxury!!!
